Ashtanga Yoga Brussels is a small traditional shala which has one main mission: to maintain the integrity of Ashtanga yoga in the tradition of Sri K Pattabhi Jois and to pass it on in the way that it is still taught in India today: Mysore style classes and a weekly guided class counted in Sanskrit.
Mysore style classes allow each student the opportunity to work through the sequence at their own pace and ability. The classes are suitable for all levels, as each student gets individual help from the teacher(s) as and when needed.
The traditional led primary series classes are counted through in Sanskrit are held once a week and allow the students to understand the cadence and the rigour of the vinyasa system.
We also run a weekly beginners class to introduce people who are completely new to Ashtanga to the practice.
We run classes six mornings a week in keeping with the requirements of the K Pattabhi Jois, Astanga Yoga Institute (KPJAYI), now known as the Sharath Yoga Centre (SYC) and as directed by Paramaguru Sharath Jois in Mysore.

In-person and Online classes:
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays: Mysore classes from 6:30am -9am (cet), latest entry at 7:30am
Thursdays: Beginners/Refreshers class at 12:15 (in person only)
